Dr. Patt Hollinger Pickett and Darrel Hollinger share their lives as a married couple and have five children.  They also have joined together in business as a coaching team to bring you the ideal combination of formal knowledge and diverse experience.  Following Bachelor's Degrees in History and Sociology respectively, both instuctors completed a Master's Degree in Education.  Expanding their academic knowledge base, Mr. Hollinger earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Dr. Pickett was awarded a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Studies.  Dr. Pickett is licensed in Missouri as a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Professional Counselor.

With over 40 years combined "in the trenches" experience in coaching, business, counseling, training, and consulting, Dr. Pickett and Mr. Hollinger will be your instructors and provide an advanced, interactive learning experience.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

Darrel Hollinger, M.Ed., M.B.A. is a Certified Professional Coach and business professional with over 20 years experience and success in operations management, personnel development, governmental affairs, community relations, media relations, and corporate communications during significant organizational changes.

Recognized by business associates as a forward thinker, Darrel has a record of developing and implementing solutions to address multidimensional operational changes and challenges through his compassionate leadership.  He has trained and coached hundreds of managers in management techniques, including management by objectives with results tied to performance appraisal and enhanced team effectiveness through increased involvement by individual team members.   He has direct experience using these and other tools to manage multi-million dollar organizations to achieve favorable bottom lines.  Darrel has specialized experience in the telecommunications field.

As your instructor, Darrel will be collaborative and results driven.  Through both his academic graduate work and experience in business, he possesses a broad base of expert  knowledge to advance your success in coaching. 

Patt Hollinger Pickett, LPC, LMFT, M.Ed., Ph.D., is a Certified Professional Coach and relationship expert with extensive academic training in the mental health field and over 20 years experience in assisting clients to achieve success with goals and focus areas.

Patt's Doctoral program was in Marriage & Family Studies at St. Louis University where the emphasis was on family and organizational systems.  As a systems thinker and a certified teacher she combines skills to help guide and teach participants to understand and utilize their impact on the system (the people in their world) and the system on them.

Valued by her colleagues and clients alike for being straightforward and no nonsense, Patt's contributions often prompt the response, "I never thought about it that way before."

As your instructor, Patt will actively engage you in both a lively exchange and meditative process on your agenda as a coach and help you to define your priorities, values, and goals.  She will help you envision how to move "outside your zone of comfort" to design your life and coaching to progress toward problem solving, goal achievement or expanded life satisfaction in your focus area(s).

Together as your team of instructors, they present a balanced approach to the skills for excellence in business and personal coaching.
